After researching them, first we had to find the plants and take the photographs. Then we had to process those photographs and do more research. Then the images and data had to be assembled into posts for this website, which also had to be built, organized, and designed. As you can imagine this was an enormous amount of work.
No one has paid us to do any of this. We have not received a grant of any kind for either the project or this website. We have already donated several hundred images to the (now defunct) Evergreen Native Plant Database. We are, however, not prepared to give away any more content from this website.
People found "hot-linking" our images or "scraping" our text will be blocked from accessing this website. And, if we come across our images posted on other people's websites, without our authorization, we will file copyright infringement notices with Google.
