A low growing, long blooming, rounded shrub with delicate greyish-green leaves. Flowers are a striking yellow that contrast nicely with the foliage. Provides good erosion control; pest and maintenance free. One of a few native shrubs available at local nurseries and garden centres; usually called potentilla. A member of the rose family.
Starts from seed, bare root.
Meadows, well-drained areas.
North American aboriginals used the dried leaves as a spice or to make tea.
